While it's hard to tell from the silhouette, this is most likely a white-winged dove as they are by far the most common type of dove in the park (the other likely option would be a mourning dove). You can hear them cooing loudly pretty much all day long.
There are a great many bird species to be seen by the pond and in the surrounding park. My camera is not good enough to photograph them all clearly, but I have compiled a list of birds I've seen that I am reasonably certain I have correctly identified: List of Birds
