Mills Pond - Austin, Texas: Ducks

This is one of my favorite of the ducks that live by the pond. Yes, that's actually a duck. Specifically, it's a domestic muscovy, a feral duck, and I believe the only feral duck not derived from mallards. Muscovies are larger on average than mallards, but this guy is larger on average than all the other muscovies by the pond. He's about the size of a small goose. Here you can see him standing near some mallards, to give you an idea of his size:
