Mills Pond - Austin, Texas: Turtles

Mills Pond and its creek have a ton of turtle residents. There are several different species, some of which I have not been able to identify yet (still looking for a good reptile reference book). The ones on this page are red-eared sliders, one of the most common turtles to be found in ponds in the United States.
