Mills Pond - Austin, Texas: Water
Previous Home Next

This being Texas, when it rains it rains hard, and when it doesn't rain things get very toasty. As such, the water level of the pond and creek are in constant flux: flooding alternates with dry, cracked creek beds and accumulated pond scum. The pictures on this page are from a particularly wet period.
