More feeps on the intertron: Feep Fan Page on Facebook Feeps on MySpace Feeping Creatures: Feep o' the Morning Announcements for 1/5/2012I finally managed to get the last of the 2011 feeps listed in the Feeping Creatures Etsy store. Now, we merely wait to see what new monsters shall squiggle forth in 2012 ... Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 11/30/2011I just added several new feep figurines to the Etsy store. Hoping to have mugs and shirts restocked later this week. I won't be doing a show this month, so if you're looking to give feeps for the holidays, buying online is your best bet!Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 10/8/2011It's just about show time! New York Comic Con is next weekend, Oct. 13-16. I was able to get a few new feeps made, which is good news for the healing progress on my hand. You can find me at the Prism Comics booth, most likely in the afternoons (the schedule hasn't been finalized yet, but I'll be there half-days). Hope to see you there!Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 9/16/2011Here's what happened: back in June I sustained a relatively minor injury to my dominant hand, and this relatively minor injury got re-injured and turned into a full-blown sprain. So I haven't been able to do much the last few weeks. Definitely no feeping or drawing, and very limited computing. I'm in physical therapy now, though, and rehabbing the ol' paw, so hopefully soon I will return to full health and can art freely once more.Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 4/8/2011Just a quick little update to let you know of a smattering of new feeps in the Etsy shop:Feeping Creatures Etsy Store Five new figurines and a new ACEO. Not exactly an avalanche of listings, but I wanted to go ahead and get them in there. My goal is to get a bunch more made this month, so hopefully there'll be another update before too long. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 3/3/2011It's STAPLE! time, folks! Many exciting developments for this year's show. First of all, it's expanded to two days this time around, so you can STAPLE! it up all weekend. Also exciting is the fact that I can now accept credit cards at shows. I've signed up with Square, which means I can use my phone as a credit card machine. Pretty freakin' cool if you ask me. What else. I'm about to go pick up some fresh, new mugs and shot glasses, so I'll have those back in stock. Oh! Also. Austin Sketchgroup has the Hideout again for the month of March, and I have some work hanging there. It was kind of a last-minute thing, so I don't have any brand-spanking-new stuff up, but my goal is to have some new pieces ready in time for SXSW. I'll let you know more about that as things develop. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 12/19/2010A few more feeps in the Etsy shop:Feeping Creatures Etsy Store The newest ones are all Superflex feeps. I haven't made any of those in quite awhile (probably 3 years or so), but I recently got the hankering and the clay was still good, so here we are. Superflex is particularly good for making larger tentacle monsters, so that's what I've done. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 12/12/2010For your edification, I have added a handful of new feeps to the Etsy shop, and relisted a bunch of shirts that had been out of stock:Feeping Creatures Etsy Store I actually have even more shirts to list, but I'm going to be getting new photos of the shirts soon and will probably wait until I have those pix before listing the rest. I guess my point is, if there's a shirt you want but you don't see it in the shop, it doesn't hurt to ask. I may have it. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 12/5/2010New feeps ahoy!Feeping Creatures Etsy Store This update includes some new figurines and orneryments, just in case you have a tree you need to monsterize. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 11/22/2010As promised, I've added some new listings to the Etsy store, including some figurines and some original art:Feeping Creatures Etsy Store With any luck I'll get some more stuff in there before December kicks into gear. We'll see how it goes! Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 11/18/2010The Oasis Gift Shop, which is attached to The Oasis restaurant on Lake Travis, now carries feep mugs, shot glasses, and buttons. If things go well, I'll be adding new items in the coming months, including coasters, tiles, and pillows (!!). The Oasis Gift Shop features a great many other items by local artists, so if you're in Austin you should stop by sometime.Meanwhile, my Etsy store is a bit thin due to how very successful Austin Comic Con was. Not to worry, though - I'll be getting several new listings up in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned! Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 11/12/2010That's right, folks, Austin Comic Con is officially upon us! It's going on all weekend at the Convention Center in downtown Austin. I'm in the Artist Alley near the back corner of the hall.I have lots of new feeps to show you, as well as a full restock on mugs and shirts, and a bunch of new original wall art. As per usual, most of my Etsy listings are hidden during the show so I don't double-sell anything. The store will return by Monday the 15th. Hope to see you at the show! Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 10/16/2010There's a profile of me up on Nothing But Austin, a site that concerns itself with all things ... can you guess?Anyway, here is said profile, and also information on how to win for your very own self a free Feeping Creatures t-shirt: Dylan Edwards Profile and Tshirt Giveaway I already know the answer to the trivia question, it turns out, but I'm not going to spoilerize it here. Go see if'n you can figure it out. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 9/20/2010Did a wee update to the Feeping Creatures Etsy store last night, adding a handful of new figurines and necklaces. I'm experimenting with a different brand of clay this time around, Kato Polyclay. It's supposed to be extremely durable, so we'll see if it's an improvement over Sculpey Premo. I have to say, so far I'm liking the feel of the finished pieces, though the clay itself is a little harder to work with (it's possible the batch I got was just older and therefore tougher). The ASG Art Show at the Hideout actually got extended through September, so if you didn't get a chance to see it last month there's still time. I just put up some new pieces yesterday to replace some of the stuff that has sold. Okay, a couple of actually brand-new pieces, and a couple of older ones that I just got around to framing. Same diff. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 9/2/2010The ASG Art Show at the Hideout is coming to a close! Sept. 4th is the last day of the show, and we'll be having a closing party that evening from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. There will be wine and snacks, there's no charge for admission, and the location is less than a block from 6th Street if you're headed downtown for frivolity on Saturday night. Come on down to party town, oh yes indeedy. In other news, I'm just about sold out of mugs, but have more on order, so look for those to be back in the nearish future. I'm also in the midst of working out the deets on a fun and exciting opportunity, about which I shall reveal more once the deal is done. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 8/27/2010It is once again ArmadilloCon time, and I will, as ever, be there in the dealer's room with my table full o' feeps. It's at a new hotel this year, the Renaissance Hotel in the Arboretum (Austin, TX), so make sure you head to the right place. Hit up their website for more info.I have lots of new feeps, and this will also be the debut of my latest feep merch, feep buttons! I have six designs available for this first run. After the show, I'll put sets up for sale on Etsy for all you folks who can't make it. Speaking of Etsy, as per usual I'll be removing items I'll have with me at the con, so the online store will be a little sparse over the weekend. That's it. See you at the show! Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 8/6/2010I had a grand old time at San Diego Comic Con, but there has been nary a moment of rest. Pretty much the instant I got back it was time to hang the ASG art show at The Hideout. The show features me as well as several other local artists, including Sam Hurt of Eyebeam fame and Kristin Hogan of LEOG and Dead Squirrel Girl. The Hideout show will be up until Sept. 4th, at which point we will have a closing party. And at the end of the month it will be time once more for ArmadilloCon (August 27-29). Go to the events page for details on these shows:Events Schedule Finally, I just confirmed my table for Austin Comic Con, which is being put on by Wizard World. I did the Dallas show a couple of times, but it looks like they decided to make things more convenient for me and relocate the gig to Austin. I can't complain. That'll be happening November 12-14, so put it on yer calendars, yeah? Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 7/19/2010I am on the verge of leaving for San Diego Comic Con, and have had the joy of being sick for the last week even as I try to prep like mad. I decided to err on the side of getting better rather than going all-out, because it turns out working a convention whilst ill is far less fun than it sounds. At any rate, I've posted my appearance schedule for SDCC on my events page, and have also added a couple more upcoming shows:Events Schedule Once I get back I hope to get the Etsy shop updated with new stuff. Plus, I'll try to post some pictures of the con so you can witness the madness from afar. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 4/30/2010At long last, I have completed the transfer of feeply itemries from the eBay store over to the Etsy store. PLEASE NOTE: The eBay Store is now closed. Please use the Esty store instead.Feeping Creatures Etsy Shop The only things I haven't fully listed in Esty are the shirts. I only did the silkscreen shirts for now. Will get to the printed shirts in a bit, but I wanted to prioritize fixing all the links on the website that had been pointing to eBay. Speaking of which, if you happen to find something I missed, I would greatly appreciate it if you let me know so I can fix it. Woo! Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 3/7/2010I've begun the slow, laborious process of migrating the feep online store over to Etsy. Since there are a lot of listings to deal with this is going to take awhile, but I have at least put up the first round of brand-new feeps on Etsy. You can check them out here:Feeping Creatures Etsy Shop Why am I doing this? Primarily because, as a marketplace, Etsy is a craft show while eBay is a flea market. The former is much better suited to what I do. So we'll see how it works out. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 12/12/2009Wheatsville went very well! Thanks to all who came out and made it worth my while to stand outside in the cold and rain all weekend. And now, I have finally finished listing all the new feep stuff in the eBay store. All the shirts, mugs, and shot glasses I have in stock, as well as a handful of new glow-in-the-dark feeps. I'm also picking up a reorder on the mugs and shot glasses on Monday (12/14), so if you don't see the one you want right this very now, check back early next week. Here are all the new Feeps in one swell foop Here are the shirts The mugs The shot glasses And the glow feeps Whew! And now, I think I'm gonna go slack for a bit. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 11/13/2009Exciting news in the land o' feep: first of all, I have confirmation on my next two shows, the Wheatsville Arts Festival (Dec. 5-6, 2009) and STAPLE! Independent Media Expo (March 6, 2010). These are both in Austin. Be sure to check out the Upcoming Events page for more details. Also: new feep items will be available soon, in time for Wheatsville if all goes well. I'm talking about new feep t-shirts (including two brand-new designs), ceramic mugs, and ceramic shot glasses. I am stupidly excited about these things, because I love utilitarian objects with monsters on them. The first batch I'm hoarding for the Wheatsville Arts Festival, but after that I'll put them for sale online so you can snag 'em if you're not near Austin. More info about that in a couple of weeks! Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 8/24/2009Observe! I have added some new feeps to the eBay store:New eBay Store Feeps All figurines this time around, both regular poly clay and glow-in-the-dark. Also, I have plans for some fun new feep items, so I'll let you know as things develop. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 8/15/2009I'll be at ArmadilloCon this weekend, August 14-16, with a table full o' feeps. If you're in Austin and are a fan of sci-fi, do check it out.Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 7/30/2009Apart from filling the odd commission order, I've mostly been taking a break from feeping. Partially due to an intense amount of non-feep work, partially to have a chance to chill out and reset, avoid burn-out and whatnot. Also, I moved a month ago, and moves always tend to derail my creative activities. But! I do have a show coming up in a couple of weeks, ArmadilloCon, so I will indeed be working on new monstery goodness.I probably won't get around to putting up any new eBay listings until after the con, but I'll have new photos for the Daily Monster in due time. I did find some old photo shoot outtakes recently and have been posting those hither and thither, so if you haven't checked out the DM recently, mayhap you ought do so! Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 6/7/2009Quick update, just added a page to the Sketchbook section, a photo of my original concept sketch for the layout of the index page for the feep site.I'll be working on some new feeps this week, so hopefully I'll have some new store listings soon. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 5/27/2009Doot doot doo. At long last, may I present you with the newly-redesigned Feeping Creatures website. My eyeballs are about to fall out of my head from staring at the screen for so long, so I'm only going to do a spot-check for uploading errors. If you find any bugs please do let me know about them so I can fix them. There's a ton of new content, so please take some time to look around. Some sections (especially stuff in the Extras area) I hope to add to sooner rather than later, but I'm opting to focus on getting this thing live instead of perfect. I know! Unconscionable, but there it is. I hope you enjoy. Cheers, Dylan Announcements for 5/19/2009I've put up a new round of feeps in the eBay store:New eBay Store Feeps Zine Fest Houston went really well, so many thanks to everyone who came out and bought some monsters. Meanwhile, the site update proceeds apace, so with any luck my next update will be from a shiny, new feepingcreatures.com. Cheers, Dylan |
If you would like to receive email notifications when new feeps have been added to my Etsy Store, and to be informed of events at which I will be selling art and feeps, fill out the web form below. You probably won't get more than one email a month from me (if that many), and I absolutely will not sell your address to anyone, not even for a million billion dollars. I hate spam just as much as you do.
